@Alain I completely agree. The same thing happened with ActionsTalk. Social media was a great way to get things started and continues to be a great way to keep things moving - but there was a noticeable spike when we broke into some mainstream media.

The most interesting part of this video, and it was based on a good question about when views spiked, was when Gary talked about the two articles written about him.

It just goes to show that a good social media strategy is only part of your overall marketing. Mainstream media is still important and can get you huge exposure that may or may not happen with social media alone.

Gary really is an icon in personal branding. His talks are inspirational and entertaining to say the least.
